Transit Police encountered Edward Morgan, 41, after responding to a report of illegal drug activity at track 7 of Back Bay station around 9:45 p.m. on June 9, police said.

When officers asked Morgan if he planned on taking any trains, Morgan responded by essentially asking if the officer was stupid, police added.

Police soon learned Morgan had two outstanding warrants for his arrest for destroying over $1,200 worth of property and threatening to commit a crime. He was arrested and taken in for booking, police said.
